On May 21, 2025, the Netherlands Institute of Public Safety, in cooperation with the RCDV's Risk and Crisis Management Professional Council, is organizing the Crisis Management! The theme of the day is crises to come.
The day is filled with several speakers, including Beatrice de Graaf, who speaks in the afternoon about the adaptability of society and how research can contribute to it.

Scientific research helps us better understand what can be important for creating successful crisis response. But we also want to use the knowledge and experiences that people have gained through crises. In the preparation for crises and in dealing with crises, citizens, teachers, policeman and local administrators play an important role. That is why we established Adapt! Academy. Adapt! Academy will do research in numerous municipalities in collaboration with local partners.
